When I was growing up, the expense of the Christmas gift didn’t matter. It was more about the thought and my mom taught us to critically and creatively consider our recipient’s interests as we selected each gift. My grandma, for example, wrote lots of letters so one year I made her a set of custom designed “stationary” featuring designs I made from construction paper circles. My mom helped me wrap my gift in a cute little box and tucked in a roll of stamps. Nothing thrilled my ten-year-old heart more than opening the mailbox and finding a personalized letter written on MY stationary.
This year I’m once again giving my grandma a set of custom-designed stationary. My style has changed a bit, but the love, time, and thought I put in is the same.

Hi! My name is Pam and I believe no matter who we are or where we come from, we all have a story to tell. My blog is the place I tell mine.
