Making a themed-craft is our favorite way to supplement a favorite book and extend the learning. And this printable template makes a cut-and-paste wolf craft project so simple! Learn facts about wolves, read a fairy tale with a villian-ized wolf, teach the Boy Who Cried Wolf, and MORE!
Supplies for the Wolf Craft Project:
- Wolf Craft Printable Template
- white paper or card stock
- paint/crayons/markers
- scissors
- glue
- (optional) colored card stock or patterned paper
Download & Print
Download & print the wolf craft template. We prefer to print on white card stock for a sturdier project.
Color or Paint the Wolf Craft Template
Color or paint the wolf template pieces. In this example, we chose tempera paint. I put dabs of white, black and brown on a paint tray and encouraged the kids to dip their brushes in all of the colors and mix a bit on the paper to create a “textured” look on the template. I love the way the mixed colors turned out and how they give the wolf’s “fur” some depth.
Cut Template Pieces
Assemble with Glue
Assemble the wolf pieces with glue, and add eyes or other details with marker.
If desired, adhere your completed wolf to a piece of card stock, patterned paper or painted paper. Then display!
You can download this craft template (and many more!!!) in my store at Teachers Pay Teachers.
