Cooking with Kids: Cinnamon Bites

by pameladonnis

Grab a can of biscuits and try this yummy recipe! We made them with our FREE Pillsbury biscuits! Loving those coupon deals!

Items Needed:

  • Can of refrigerator biscuits
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 TBSP cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

In a resealable bag, combine 1/4 cup white sugar, 1/4 cup brown sugar and 2 TBSP cinnamon. Mix well.

Open a can of Pillsbury Grands biscuits and cut into fourths (this was a great lesson on halves and fourths!)

Place biscuit pieces in a baking dish (never mind if they look a little mutilated!)

Pour 1/4 cup melted butter over biscuits and top with cinnamon and sugar mix. Bake at 350* for about 20-25 minutes or until no longer doughy.

Eat! And feel free to lick your fingers and ask for more!

I love these, and I’ll have to try them with the brown sugar. I’ve always used just white. Also, I use my kitchen scissors to cut the biscuits. It goes so fast with the scissors!
