Family Home Evening Chart

by pameladonnis

When we have our weekly family nights, we like to share the responsibilities by making “assignments” and even the littlest ones participate. Most of the time Jared and I plan the lesson and the rest gets delegated on the spot, but we’re starting to move into the territory where the kids LOVE participating so much that they argue about who-wants-to-do-what and who-did-what-last-week.

Time for a chart. It does seem like that’s my solution to everything!

This “chart” is very simple, and making it took less time than picking out the frame. (Hobby Lobby, 50% off)

I made the chart in Photoshop, with a few digital few papers and embellishments, then printed, trimmed it to 8×10 to fit my frame, and we’re done! To make this chart reusable, I’ll use a marker to write directly on the glass (similar to the menu planner board).

No more fighting about assignments? Let’s sure hope so!!

If this chart is something that would work for your family, feel free to download!!
